About Carbon Credits

Our biochar and bamboo planting projects sequester a significant amount of CO2, making EcoNew a company with a negative carbon net emission.

Through continuous pyrolysis in our reactor, we transform biomass into biochar, internationally recognized as one of the most potent negative emission technologies. EcoNew’s bamboo planting not only restores degraded areas but also provides frequent harvests with rapid regeneration, ensuring a continuous cycle of absorption and making it a remarkable carbon sink.

For every metric ton (t) of CO2 captured, resulting in a negative emission for EcoNew, one (1) carbon credit is generated and made available for sale in the voluntary market. Companies and organizations can purchase these credits to offset their own emissions and achieve socio-environmental goals.

EcoNew is in the process of certification with respected international bodies responsible for developing and managing market standards for CO2 emission reduction and carbon offset projects.

Upon completion of audits, official certificates will be issued, transacted through public blockchain records to ensure trust in the process and prevent double-selling of the same credit. We will keep our website and LinkedIn page updated as we progress through these processes.
