About Carbon Credits
Econew advances its carbon credit initiatives through the production of high-quality biochar — one of the most recognized CO₂ removal technologies for its stability and permanence.
In October 2025, we successfully completed Puro.earth’s Preliminary Assessment, a key step toward full certification, expected in the first half of 2026. We chose Puro.earth for its technical rigor, international recognition, and market transparency; the organization, majority-owned by Nasdaq, is a global benchmark in carbon removal certification standards. Final approval will allow the issuance of independently audited and verified carbon removal credits.
Our continuous pyrolysis process converts FSC®/PEFC-certified eucalyptus residues into biochar with a high fixed-carbon content. Each ton of confirmed CO₂ removal corresponds to one carbon credit available in the voluntary market. These credits are traded via public, blockchain-based registries, ensuring integrity, traceability, and eliminating the risk of double counting.
